Entry 907: To the one who will love her next
The ones to whom we show affection carry their hearts onto another, seeking satisfaction from a stranger with the deepest spite for all former lovers.
It was wrong to try to hold her heart hostage in a tomb that the universe knew it didn't belong. Keeping it within the confines of my selfish insecurities, hoping everything I was, measured up to half of what you ever needed. With honour, I lowered each wall and let her through- to busk in the flare of my undying passion. But she preferred to settle anywhere away from me. She will crash your soul against an avalanche of grief after she leaves you stranded within a trance of sorrow, whispering her name to yourself, hoping any memory of her would speak back to you.
