Eternal Sundown II

My eyes flip open, succumbing to the night;

Into the middle of deafening silence,

The centre of my sorrow presents itself as the bane of my existence.

Buried next to misfortune,

misfit gripping at my thin, frail bones

I busk in the scalding pains of the distance you've chosen to create between my heart and yours.

Be mine and not a god more,

Let my praises of your sanctuary become divine.

Heal my mind from widows' willows and teach me of the ways to forget the torment that now defines me.

Marry me to gloom and cage my soul in hell.
