There's a familiar taint in my soul, I suppose, from all forms it has embodied through the span of time. Now, I exist as a lover suspended at the edge of earth.
Incumbent of all things pain and no stranger to the shadows of this realm. My past does define me, as it has brought with it a certain realization.

On certain days, I feel the darkness stare back with a bit of remorse in her eyes. She finds pity in what she has made of me, an uninspired soul in control of a lifeless body.
